" 1 " : c h i . ; 'X M i Mr. & Mrs. Clark Wilson Teresa Sturdevant, Clark Wilson joined in marriage Clark Wilson, son of Mrs. Doris Wilson of Moab and Teresa Sturdevant Sturde-vant of Stoner, Co. were joined in marriage Saturday, Satur-day, June 3 in . an afternoon, outdoor ceremony. cere-mony. The marriage, performed perform-ed by Charles McCormick of Moab, took place between two large pine trees at the ranch home of Teresa's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Sturdevant, Sr., one mile above Stoner. It was a double ring ceremony and the bride was given away by her father. Teresa wore a white satin gown with long full sleeves of chiffon and a chapel length train. Lace appliques decorated the bodice of the dress, the cuffs of the sleeves and the high neckline. The chapel length veil was attached to a white satin cap with matching lace appliques. The bride's sister, Mrs. Melodie Len-te, Len-te, of Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, made the wedding ensemble. Teresa carried a bouquet bou-quet of carnations, daisies and baby's breath in a variety of spring, pastel colors. Following the traditional trad-itional saying, Teresa wore "something old," an Indian head penny taped in her shoe; "something new," her wedding ensemble; en-semble; "something borrowed," bor-rowed," an Irish linen handkerchief belonging to her sister; and "something "some-thing blue," the traditional tradition-al garter. The brides' attendants were maid of honor, Julie Vande Voorde, a friend; from Pierce, Idaho; Tracy Mahaffey, a friend; Mrs. Paula Rosenberger, a cousin; and Terry Grencik a friend, all from Cortez, Colorado; and flower girl, the bride's neice Heather Lente, South Dakota. The girls wore gingham sun dresses in rainbow colors and wrist corsages of carnations matching the color of their dresses. Heather wore a headband of miniature carnations & baby's breath in spring colors and carried a basket of rose petals. Clark was attended by best man Kevin Gilliland, a Moab native now living in Yellow Jacket, Co.; and friends Jim Trusty, Mark Gramlich, and Mark Roberts, Ro-berts, all of Moab. The groom wore a medium blue suit and the groomsmen grooms-men wore dark blue pants and pastel shirts to match the colors of the bridal attendants' dresses. The ring bearer, the groom's nephew Simon Limas from Moab, wore a blue suit. Following the ceremony the bride's parents, assisted as-sisted by Mrs. Wilson and the groom's aunt, Mrs. Ora Feller, held a buffet dinner reception at their home. The reception table draped by Mrs. Feller, was centered by a three-tiered three-tiered wedding cake decorated dec-orated in spring colors and topped with blue and white satin wedding bells. Bouquets of roses, snapdragons, snap-dragons, and gTeenery decorated all the tables. Friends of the bride, Stephanie Sommers and Allison Crawford attended the reception table. Mrs. Renee Buffington, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book and the table cloth which was signed by each guest will be embroidered by a cousin, Mrs. Jean Sagrillo of Glendale, Az. John Sturdevant. Jr., the brother bro-ther of the bride, and Mrs. Melodie Lente assisted at the gift table. The couple is now residing in Moab where Clark is a salesman for Canyonlands Auto Parts. |
