' '; ' ' '., ' t v. 1 1 1 'V' ' ". -i- - - . :: Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Foy Wedding Unites Young Couple At Moab Church Oct. 5th A ceremony . on October 5 at the Community Baptist Church united in marriage Miss Rita Kay Wolverton, daughter of Mrs. Olan South-erland South-erland and Mr. Norville Wolverton, Wol-verton, and Kurt Foy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Foy of Moab. Rev. Emil Balla performed per-formed the ceremony. The bride chose a gown nf white satin with a lace panel pa-nel and charx'l train; long sleeves and an elbow length veil. Matron of Honor was Mrs. Sharon Kohl, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were La-ni La-ni Lang, Montez Higgens, Sue Foy, Verna Foy and Connie Walker. Serving as best man was Jim Foy, and ushers were Bob Westwood, Lloyd Moore, Doug Stewart, Terry Paige and Rex Moore. Vocal selections were "The Lord's Prayer," and "More," by Paul Drake. A reception followed the ceremony. Out of town guests attending attend-ing were Mrs. Leila Wolverton, Wolver-ton, grandmother of the bride; Mrs. Linnie Jones, Grand Junction, Mr. and Mrs. Lynd Gravat, Palisade, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Tuffiy of Fruita and Mr. and Mrc. Mike Edling, Fruita; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kohls, Kittridge, Colo.; and Mr. and Mrs. Jos Adams of California. The couple honeymooned at Yellowstone National Park before returning to Moab to make their home. |
