Show rmm iKWUCi 840 Thursday July 25 1974 Moab as a Place to Live lured Hew Physician By Michelle Cook With the idea that this quiet little haven hidden In a southeastern Utah valley was completely without doctors Dr Gilbert Preston and his wife Helen left the glittering crowded city of New York to seek out a more peaceful existance Not only did they find peace and quiet they also found four five hours of his time in the evenings to the Free Clinic without pay or fringe benefits is most assuredly a sign of concern for the success of the clinic and the kids it was designed to serve However the clinic was privately funded and it eventually folded as funding decreased and circumstances made it imdoctors to be practicing possible to continue in Moab!
