Show "Funeral Held In Nevada for Michael Cox Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in Panaca 14-year-old son of former Moab residents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cox, who died in the crash of a school bus near Cedar City late last week. The boy, along with a number of other Panaca young people, was on his way to an athletic event in Utah at the time of the crash Many were injured in the mishap; Cox was the only fatality. Services were held in the Panaca LDS Ward Chapel Monday. Michael Lee Cox was born June 3, 1954 in Moab to Floyd Lee and Helen Dorothy Doro-thy Cox. He was a member of the LDS Church, and attended at-tended Lincoln County High School in Panaca. Survivors in addition to his parents, are brothers, sisters, Wayne Lee, Denver; Richard Dean, Salt Lake City; Cary Max, Hawaii; Sheri Nan, Panaca, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Powell, Moab; step grandparents, Abe Day, Albuquerque Al-buquerque and Ava Lee Cox, Bakersfield, California. Moab people who attended the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Max Day, Mr. and Mrs F. D. .Powell, Mr. and rs. Robert Rynio, Mr and Mrs. Paul Whitney, Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Lemon, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Day, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hawks and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stewart. |
