R McConkle McConkie was the speaker and told of the devoted life of service to family fam ily friends and church Mrs Barker had lived Bishop Lance by request read A Tribute to Mothers The chorus sang Sometime Somewhere Mrs Clarence Holyoak was accompanist for the musical numbers num bersI bers I Graveside services consisted of prayer by Ralph Bishop and anda a hymn God Be With You by a mixed chorus The pallbearers were six grandsons of Mrs Barker The Deseret Mortuary of Salt Lake City was In charge of the burial Mrs Barker was born In Clay county Ga July 4 1875 a dau daughter of James Riley and Adeline Teem Patton On Dec 10 1893 she was married to John Wesley Barker In San ford Colo Cob After residing for a number of years in Colorado the family moved to Grand county residing residing ing first at Castle Castleton ton Later they moved t to Moab and have made their home here for some 25 years Besides her husband Mrs Barker Is survived by eight sons and three daughters who are George W.
