Show FOUR JUDICIARY BILLS BY LOCAL MAN representative george J const constantine a n of grand county on friday introduced four bill bills in the bouse house all of which went to the judiciary committee for or cons consideration ideran ion house bill no 12 makes it unlawful for any person with intent of instituting a suit outside the fate state to solicit the business of coll collecting acting any claim for damage or personal injury sustained in this state or death m cases where the right of action rests in a resident of this state mr constantine entitles the measure an act to prohibit ambulance chasing house bill no 14 amends sections and and provides penalties for certain classes of crime house bill no 13 seeks amendment of section compiled laws of 1917 7 and repeals section of the same aw laws the stet sections fons relate to 0 o the salaries of district attorneys the ae ameri amendment dment provides that no mileage or expenses shall be allowed any district attorney unless he is required fired to attend atten court outside his own county in house bill no 15 mr constantine seeks an amendment to compiled law laws of 1917 relating re latine to deputy district attorneys the amendment authorizes district attorneys in judicial districts of fewer than 90 inhabitants to employ deputies whenever it shall be necessary such deputies shall be employed only with the consent of the state board of examiners and their salaries ea laries shall not exceed 1500 a year on monday mr constantine introduced two additional bills one relates to special verdicts and special finds in the trial of civil cases while the other would change the school election law in that it would permit evera qualified voter to vote for ter one member of the county board of education from each representative precinct of the county under he present law voters are ledged to vote for only one member of the board and that member must be from the district in which the voter lives |
