candidate for the office of justice of the supreme court of utah was born on january 31 1877 he received his common school education in the public schools of utah conaty after which he attended the university of utah in 1899 he was graduated from the normal school of tha university of utah and in 1902 b was graduated with the degree of AS from the same institution H has been engaged in teaching for a period of six years one year in the common schools of summit county four years in the branch normal school at cedar city utah and one year in the history d cart ment of the university of utah he has also spent one year and a half in the employ of the rocky mountain telephone company in its general office at salt lake city he received his legal education in the university of chicago and was
