The program is called "Skin Care and Muscle Therapy" and will be given by Tola Newman who has been in the field of hypoenergetic cosmetics for 17 years. The Women's Club welcomes Major and Mrs. Kenneth Hise and their four children - Mary France, 15 years old; Neil - 13; Tommy -nine; and Kevin - two. Ken came to Dugway from Vietnam and Franca and the children from Colorado Springs. MAJOR HISE is the Post Engineer. He has had overseas duty in England, Germany, Guam, Okinawa, Korea and Vietnam. Franca is a native of Trieste, Italy, where she met Ken. He is from Henrietta, Texas. He attended the University of Maryland and received an advanced degree at the University of North Dakota. Both Ken and Franca play bridge and they are avid skiers. Neil and Tommy, their two oldest sons, ski also. WE WELCOME also Lieutenant and Mrs. Robert Peelor. They -- old have a daughter, Betsy, and are expecting their second child in July. Bob and Martha came to Dugway from Fort Eustis, Virginia, where Bob took his basic training. Martha comes from Baytown, Texas, and Bob is from Pittsburg. He graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Martha attended the same university. Lieutenant Peelor is the transportation officer at Dugway. Both he and Martha enjoy playing bridge and, as mentioned earlier, Martha is the bridge chairman for the Officers' Wives Club. pre-East- Cj V .. WJII JH... ST SB jj er Editor Test Run Dugway, Utah Dear Editor: The Utah Network for Instructional Television truly appreciates the cooperation displayed by many of Dugway citizens when they assisted us by sewing a number of needed costumes for the television program "The Pied Piper," which was a part of our Story Time II series. Since we know not who these citizens were, would you please assist us in thanking them very much for the service they afforded us. To the administrations of Tooele District, Dugway High School, and Dugway Elementary School, we wish to also express gratitude, especially to Mr. Robert Dobson and the Dugway High School Music Department students, Mrs. Virginia and Mrs. Jacqueline Kendall and her Dugway Elementary second grade students do we express extreme heartfelt thanks. All of these top people cooperated to produce one of the finest of the literature programs in this series. Sandy Acres Service Club Garvin have announced a series month at the post establishment. AS A FOLLOW UP to last Friday's "Girls, Cirls, Cirls" show, the club has scheduled another program for Thursday, March 16, at 8 p.m. It's entitled "Young Americans" and will be a musical program given by Brig-haYoung University. Everyone is invited free of charge. On St. Patrick's Day, March 17, a "Shennanigans Party" is planned at the service club, beginning at 8 p.m. The party for all enlisted men and their guests will feature a variety of games with an Irish theme. Table groups will compete against each other for prizes in games such as potato golf and the "shamrock hunt". Refreshments - featuring "Knock . Out Punch" will be served. On Easter Sunday, March 26, an Easter party entitled "The Egg and You" will be given for all enlisted men, their wives, guests and children. The party will feature an egg hunt and bunny bingo with prizes being awarded to winners. A 'contest will also be held. AN EDUCATION tour to Bingham Canyon's Kennecott Copper Mine will be held on March 18. The tour is open to all post personnel and the bus will leave the club at 11 a.m. All interested persons are asked to sign up at the club soon. Comfortable clothing is advised for the trip. All personnel not eligible for mess hall lunches will have to bring their own food. .The tour group will witness blasting at the "world's largest open-p- it copper mine." It is hoped that a chess club can be formed at the service club. Two chess matches are planned this month for March 10 and 19 at 8 p.m. All interested chess players on post are invited to attend. The service club is also interested in starting an EM wives club. A meeting will be held on March 15 at 7 p.m., prior to the evening games, to discuss the organization of this group. TWO DANCES are also scheduled this month at the dull, both getting underway at 8 p.m. on March 11 and 25. The service club also hangs out a sign this month. The directors request that anyone on post who has any old battered hats or Ixmnets and wants to get rid of them notify the service club before Easter Sunday.
