Show (1 Dugway Tenuis Ely Golfers At Dugway 12-1- Mrs-Hele- n -- Dugway's Sergeant Roy Richardson of 5366 B Mother Drive, hai done it again. Rick Suave and Roy Sagawa shot a 76 and a 79 respectively, to nab' second and third place for Dugway. In the ladies competition, Johnson scored the lowest gross total with a 48 for the nine holes. However, Mrs. Betty Johnston of Dugway tied Mrs. Johnson In the net totals, each scoring a 35. A pre tournament mixer was held on August IS at the NCO dub; door prizes were given and there Was a Calcutta drawing. Major Robert Skimin drew Ed Taylor to win die men's Calcutta. In the ladies' Calcutta there were two winners, Mrs. Ruth Carrico and Mrs. Gay McClure. Coincident with the awarding ' of the swimming meet ribbons on August 13th, Colonel Joseph Ji. Rogers presented awards to the winners of the Dugway tennis tournament. The tournament was and conducted by organized Craig Geerlings under the super- vision of Mrs. John Rothfels. The tournament consisted of singles matches played each day , following the tennis instruction which was given by Mrs. Roth-- , fels. The competition for the boys was divided into three age groups: age i nine and under, ten and s, and twelve-year-- 1 olds and over.
