Show Public notice Legal Notice NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF WEBER SCHOOL DISTRICT WEBER COUNTY. UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election will be held in Weber School District, .Weber County, State of Utah, on the 25th day of October, 1979, at which election there shall be submitted to the qualified, registered voters residing within said district, the following question, to wit: Shall the Board of Education of Weber School District be authorized to institute a Voted Leeway Program, by levying an amount not ( exceed two (2) mills as provided for in Sec tion Utah Code Annotated. 1953, as amended1? Said election snail be held in five .(5) school representative precincts in said district and the following places within said precincts as follows: BE IT HEREBY KNOWN the Roy City Council will conduct a Special Open City Council Meeting October 16, at 5:30 1979 commencing p.m. to consider the future boundary of Roy City pursuant to the Utah Boundary will hold a closed meeting to discuss personnel matters. The Polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7 a.m. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8 p.m. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Weber County will register at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sunten-da- y period days and holidays, and except during the who on the the election, any person immediately preceding day of the election will be a qualified elector and will register such person as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make available at each, of the above described polling places a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use Such polling place.' Absent-vote- r ballots may be obtained by any person otherwise eligible to vote at the special election but who, on the day of the election, expects to be temporarily absent from Weber County or disabled, by making application, within in thirty (30) days next preceding the election, either person or by mail at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Education at 1122 N. Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Notice is further given that on Monday, October 29, 1979 that being a day not later than ten days after said election, the Board of Education will meet at its regular meeting place in Weber County at 5:00p.m. and canvass the returns and declare the results of said election.
