Show The Sun Chronicle Denise Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Olson and family spent the weekend visiting relatives and friends in Oak C!ty, Mr and Mrs Ron Terry of Salt Lake City were visitors et the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Keller Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. O'dell Hamblen have a new baby boy, born Monday morning Pat Bowden returned to the hospital this week for surgery, Brent Anderson who has been visiting at the home of the James Dunaways left on Tuesday for Sacramento, Calif He will return after to enroll at Brigham Young University. Margaret Browning and Glen-doPorter are among those who have been ill with the flu virus the past week. Mrs. Arnold S. Jorgenson returned home last week after spending a month in Auburn, Wash , with Mr. and Mrs Bill Yarrington. Mr. and Mrs Jorgenson spent Christmas there, Mrs. Yarrington is the former Katie Jorgenson. On Dec. 29 a new baby was welcomed into the family. They have a son, Craig. Tio Vigil was hospitalized after an automobile accident here in Sunset last Thursday. A surprise birthday party was held Saturday evening in honor of Joan Garcia at the home of Mr. and Mrs Reuben Morrell. Those attending were Bishop and Mrs. Ernest Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Quinlin, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schroadex, Mr. and Mrs. Pay Woods, Sandra Greer, Junior Salos, Ogden, the guest of honor and her husband, Garcia It turned out that the guests were surprised as Joan arrived early. After dinner some of the guests attended the stake Gold and Green ball while some remained to Sunset Camp of the DL'P met at the home of Svlvia Smith for their monthly meeting on Thursday evening. Verda Knight gave the lesson and pioneer family history was given by Mildred Porter with refreshments being served. Those present were Margaret Willis, Beth Ward, Melba Smith. lone Ferrin, Pearl Dabel, Pearl Andersen, Mildred Porter, Edith Parker, Louise Crossley and Verda Knight. Mr, and Mrs. Orlynn Sheen and their family spent the weekend at Spanish Fork visiting the family of the brother of Mr. Sheen, the Kenneth Sheens The entire family attended the basketball game between Spanish Fork and Pleasant Grove, Spanish Fork High being then Alma Mater.
