In the individual class, first place went to the Hooper Dog Pound, second place Miss Muffett and third place to the only decorated Doll Buggy. Bicycle division first place went to the patriotic bicycles of Jeannie Bailiff and Daryl Cullens, second place to Douglas Higley with a decorated tricycles and third place to a bicycle pulling a little boy in a black cape. Walking first place went to China Taxi, second place to Iifs a Long, Long Way to Hooper. Funniest prize went to the dressed up dog and second place to the Purple People Eater, third place to the Handcart. Her attendants were Miss Yvonne Hodges of Washington Terrace and Annette Beus of Hooper Second Ward. A baby show was held in the morning with a great number participating. The stands were filled to overflowing and the performers presented a good show ending with the exciting Brahma bull riding contest. .
