Mrs. Merrills Show, is Lucy Mother of The Prophet the original dramatization to be performed. One-Wom- This is the story of Lucy Mack Smith, mother of LDS founder and president Joseph Smith Jr. Leola Merrill is an honor graduate of Brigham Young University in drama and has performed professionally in all Western states. For five years she had her own radio Sabbath Prelude," on program, KSL. Sylvia Bischoff and Miriam Massey accompanied by Cherrill Dygert will sing selections from the Oakland, California, Temple Hill Pageant. The play is sponsored by the Tri- - County LDS Special Interests Singl Adults Council of Morgan, Davis and Weber Counties as a gift to the community. Teen-agermarried couples and Single Adults members and nonmembers of the LDS Church are invited to attend. DuWayne Lechtenberg, License bicycles New bicycle for Christmas? Now's the time to get it licensed. Saturday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., licenses may be purchased for $1. at the Roy Police Station, 5715 S. 2200 W., advises Pedestrian Safety Officer George Cummings. The license is a reflectorized sticker, one per bike, and includes stamping a number under the sprockett. Bicycles need only be licensed once. Purpose of the licensing program is to prevent theft and to facility iccovery and identification of stolen bicycles. Officer reminds Cummings residents that city ordinance requires that all bicycles be licensed. Failure to license a bicycle will result in a $5 fine, plus the cost of the license. Officers graduate Two Roy police officers were among 24 graduates from the Utah Law Enforcement Academy last Friday, according to Joe M. Borich, director of the Utah State Peace Officer Standards and Training. Kenneth G. Johnson and Edward L. Rhoades were with the graduating session. The 83rd comwere held in mencement exercises Walker Hall at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Senator Richard J. Carling Utah State Legislature, addressed the graduates. Roy city night at WSC Roys City Fathers are encouraging citizens to attend the Weber University game. Public sale set The Defense Property Disposal Office, Hill Air Force Base, announced today that a public Local Auction) Sale will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1980. The public is encouraged to bid. Among the 250 items to be offered will be chromed w ire baskets, Ford bronco, trucks, hardware, refrigerators, trailer tires with rims, shipping containers, wooden ammunition boxes, checkout counter stands, display cases and fuel tanks. The items will be on display for inspection begmning Jan. 8, 1980 from 8a.m. to 3p.m. daily except weekends. A complete list as well as sale items and conditions may be seen at Building Hill Air Force Base. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on the day of the sale.
