They will be in that country for about three years, where Ricky will be stationed with the Air Force. He has been at Hill Air Force Base for the past three years. Nancys parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Crouch, also of Roy. . Norma Passey' received a broken foot when she took a bad fall at home. A baby girl arrived at St. Benedict's Hospital on April 18 to Ronald and Debra Harris, of 2326 W. 4400 S. Lee and Barbara Holt of 5048 S. 2575 W. had a baby girl on April 18 at McKay Dee Hospital. Otis V. Chugg, of Ogden died April 19. He was 72. He had lived in Weber County most of his life and had been an electrician. He had been manager of Metro Security in Phoenix, Ariz. and had worked at the Shaver Mart in Ogden. He served with Navy and was a member of LDS Church. Among the survivors is a son, Dennis Chugg, and a sister, Erma Slater, both of Roy. Kevin and Janice Toyn, of 6043 S. 2475 W, are parents a baby boy, born April McKay Dee Hospital. 18 and daughter, Val and Luanna Tyler, who live near Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Tylers have a baby girl, bom April 24. They now have two boys and two girls in their family. William Manning of and Laura 2378 W. 5900 W. are parents of a baby girl, born April 17 at St. Benedicts Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wellsville. There were about people attending, and it was the first time the group had been together since 1956. J. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Millet were among those attending a family reunion on April 14 at Liberty Park in Ogden. The group included members of the Millet and Jensen families, with relatives coming from Salt Lake, Providence, Logan and Garth Widdison of Roy took top honors in the Winston World Cup cham- pionship series in drag racing, last weekend at Pueblo, Colorado The win puts Garth in the top ten in the 1979 Winston World Cup national points standings, as he now holds 8th place m the top fuel division. He will be competing in the near future in a match race in South Dakota, followed by another Division Five points race in Denver. Sand Ridge reports of at Helen Holtry has been in California visiting with some of her children. She returned in time to attend a missionary farewell for one of her grandsons. Mrs. Charline Abbott has just returned from a trip to Jackson, Wyoming, where she visited with relatives. By Ron Taylor and Calvin Cole has just been released from the hospital, where he had surgery. The Coles son Sheril is in the Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he has had surgery. Ed Fowers had just returned home after being on TDY for several weeks. He spent time in Korea, Japan and Hawaii. Kelly and Lisa Call are parents of a baby girl born April 18 at McKay Dee Hospital. Their home is at 5546 S. 2800 S.. Houseguests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dhirl Okey for a couple of days last week, were Mrs. Okeys mother Eva Carson, of Lehi, and her sister, Jane Giles of Springville. It was held right after school. Many schools participated in the event. 4. Assemblies have highlighted the past week. Among them were a pantomime presentation and a new vocal group from Weber State College. Student elections were the subject of still another campaign assembly, at which students running for office in Boys Association and Girls Association put on skits for the entire school. Winners of the student body elections are: Todd Meyers, president; Janice Corbridge, vice president; Tami Rawson, secretary, and Jill Belnap, historian. New Pep Club officers are Renae Owens, president; Jan Allen, vice president; Gina Jones, secretary; Tami Vobel, treasurer, and Kristi Staker, historian. Die Dan Maloney Dance Company has been visiting Sand Ridge, teaching students during certain periods of the day.
