Met OPEN Spring Cleanup Week will get under way Monday, April 21, as City crews move out in the com munity to haul away refuse not normally picked up during weekly garbage and trash collections Residents are urged to clear their yards of unsightly rubbish during the week and put out items such as boards pieces of metal and small tree stumps that do not ex ceed 50 pounds in weight in disposable containers The special pickup will take place the day after residents put out their household garbage for collec tion City Manager Wayne Kimber indicated this is a one day only pickup and urged citizens to follow the pickup schedule Residents are advised to put out their special refuse on their parking strips the same day as their regular garbage day and it will be picked up the day after.
