LAKEYIEW STAKE make an appointment with the FOUtTEENTH WARD The youth cf the ward had a fun Christmas party on Friday and Saturday at the Stake Camp. Kevin Lunceford has been ordained a Teacher. ROY TENTH WARD Tithing settlement will be Dec. 27 and 30. You can sign up on the bulletin board in the 8Mwlra. -- Years Eve Party for the Young Adults of the Roy, and Kaysville Layton Regions, will be held at the Roy North Stake Gym beginning at 9 p.m. From 9 to 11 p m. there w ill be a pillow concert by the singing group. Sun, Shade and Rain. From 11 on there will be movies, games and a stomp. Tickets can be obtained from the ward representatives at $2 or $2.50 at the door. Refreshments will be served and casual dress is in order. A New ROY STAKE The big New Years Eve dance promises to be fun for everyone who attends. Dancing to the music of the Bell Tones wall start at 9 and will continue until 12:30. There is no admittance charge but noise makers will be sold. There will also be a floor tSi n Center for The Continuing Education will be open for registration weekdays from 8 a m. to 5 p m. throughout the remainder of December and in January until one day prior to the beginning of class. Classes are scheduled to begin at various times throughout the month of January. Interested people should check wih the Center for specific information on each class. The following Graduate classes will be offered in the credit area : Education: Foundations in Reading, Educational Tests and Measurements, , Social Foundations of Education, Curriculum Development in the Elementary School, BYU-Ogde- show. Brother Andrus has always been active in the Church and has served in many and various capacities. He is currently serving as Bishop of Methods in Education I. WHAT IT USED Margaret Cannon Clayton, 1143 California Street in Salt Lake City, had a new reason to believe in saving this week when she became the recipient of a $100 award for turning in the oldest savings account on record at Zions First National Bank. The award was made in connection with the banks Centennial celebration. Margaret Claytons account was opened April 3, 1889 by her father, John quayle Cannon, when Margaret was 4 years old. The account has been maintained continuously and she has been an active customer of Zions Bank for 84 of her 88 years. A search of the original Signature Book of the bank shows her account - No. 14 -to be the lowest current number in the banks savings department files.
