The purpose of Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB) Therapy is to suppress upper respiratory diseases such as emphysema and bronchitis. Oxygen Therapy is given to patients with low intake of oxygen to the blood or patients who have pneumonia. Primarly the purpose of Hot and Cold Mist Therapy is to keep the patients lungs moist and congestion free.
