Show I - ROY NEWS Staying at the home of and Mrs. Wayne Peterson Jane Hutchinson and her teenage daughters, Larraine Mr. are two and live in Glenys. The Hutchinsons about 100 Lithgow, Austrialia, miles from Sidney, which is the site of the largest munitions plant in the southern Hemisphere. Mrs. Hutchinson met Wayne when he was a missionioary there and they are here renewing acquaintances. They plan to stay for severed weeks and see as much of the country as possible. After docking in San Francisco, they traveled to Roy by bus and stated that the scenery here and along the way was. marvelous and they are enjoying their visit here very much. The family drove Continued on Page 9 'Witnesses' Slate Religious Tour The Carl Cowan family will lead s 22 of the Clearfield Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses to an international convention schedued for the Pasadena Rose Bowl, Sept. The Clearfield delegates will be traveling to Pasadena by car. There is no special selection of delegates. During the five nights of the rodeo in Ogden, tha team placed second in the barrell racing with ten other local junior posses. Their time totaled 3 minuets, 35.1 seconds. Also in July, the Roy group participated in the July 4th celebrations in Riverdale and rode in the horse parade in Ogden. On August .10, the organization is scheduled to ride in the Greater Roy Celebrations parade in the morning. That afternoon, beginning at 1 p.m they will enter the final posse activity of the season, Utah Junior Posse the state-wid- e Championship held in Kaysville. com-petio- n With the summer season drawing to a close, members of the Roy Junior Posse are reflecting on the successes they have achieved this year and look forward for their final event on August 10. Entering the Junior Posse Jamboree on July 13, the Roy horseman took the second place trophy in the grand entry and also took home points in three other events.
