They were Kay Hewitt and Gary Cheever. Five of the young ladies graduated from Primary. They were Candy Larsen, Becky Barker, Julie Brown and Jackie Taylor. The Trailbuilder party was held on Aug. 18 with about 78 in attendance. Primary will start on Sept 4 at 3:45 p.m. TENTH WARD Saturday Sept. 1. baptismal services will be held at 7.30 in the Stake House. Fast meeting will be held on Sunday. Sept 2 at 2 pm. On Sept. 6. the ward board meeting will be held. Presidencies and Supt. are to meet at 7:00. All officers and teachers are to be there at 7 30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Day have a new son. Congratulations to them. The Primary will have a vacation this week and then will start again on Sept. 8. Primary will be held every Saturday until further notice. The opening social for Mutual will be held Sept. 4 at 7.30 pm. All ward members are encouraged to attend. Relief Society work day and teachers report meeting will be held Wed. Sept. 5 at 10 and 10:30 respectively. The opening social will be held Sept. 26th at 10 a m. All members are encouraged to attend. Practice for the singing mothers will be held every Thursday at 7:30 p.m., probably at the Hooper First Ward. You will be notified of any change of place. They are to sing at conference on Oct. 14. The Relief Society meeting at the Chronic Disease Hospital will be under the ward direction on Sept. 4. The speaker will be William R. Brown, and a violin solo will be presented by Nancy Slater.
