Sunday night the Hooper First Ward Primary was reorganized. Margene Ballif was released as president. Her counselors were Johnston and Ruby Hadley. LaVada was sustained as the new president with Ruby Hadley' and Pat Jon6s as her counselors. La-Va- The Hooper Junior Womens Club met twice recently. The pleasure of pheasant hunting came to an abrupt end for Dale Robinson Saturday morning.' Dale and his father were hunting together when a pellet from another hunters gun struck him in the right eye.. He was taken to the Dee Hospital where the shot was removed. It will be some time before he will be able to be up and around again. Don Allen Briggs, 3 months old son of Ted and Barbara Zinie Briggs, formerly of Hooper, passed away at the Salt Lake hospital Saturday night. Graveside services were held at the Hooper Cemetery, Monday. Ted and Barbara now live in Roy and have two other children, Judy and Shirley. Friday evening the Elders and partners of Hooper First Warrd had a banquet at the ward hall. The Perma-padistributors of Salt Lake prepared and served the entire meal which was made up of dehydrated foods. The annual Relief Society Bazaar of the Hooper First Ward will be held Saturday night, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. Dinner will be 6old as well as numerous gift items and baked goods. Everyone is Invited to participate in this event. LaRae Parker has juse returned from a trip to Los Angeles. She is a member of the Whip Club of Weber College and traveled with that group. Weber College furnished busses for the trip and also took the football team and college band. They attended a football game near Los Angeles. The newlyweds were married on Nov. 6 in the Salt Lake temple. Mrs. Cathenne Frasier has been laid up at borne with a badly cut leg. We hope she is soon out again.
