Charles Patterson, Mrs. Helen Sodencamp, Miss Joan Sodencamp. Carol Sodencamp and Mus Judy Russell, Mrs. James A. Nelson, Mn. James L. Russell and Mn. Bill Straley of Roy, and Mrs. LeRoy Curtis of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Albert Wlddi-soalso of Roy was present. Games were played and refreshments were served. Mn. Ruth Hicks, 5457 So. 2425 West, Roy, is one of the top prize winnen in the $30,000 lenten type recipe contest recently conducted by the Quaker Oats Company, according to anannouncement made today. As one of the 100 second-prizwinners, her triumph was based on her ability to dovisa and submit a lenten type dish, easy and quick to make, as well as being tasty and attractive. A donation of $100 will be made in her name to the church of her choice by the Quaker Oats Co. Friday Nov. 8, Roy Fire Ladies were guests of their husbands (Roy Fire Dept.) at a turkey dinner at Ma's and Pa's. After the dinner 18 couples attended the Sought Ogden Fireman's Dance. Harry Sugihara was the lucky winner of a 35 mm camera and slide projector at. the dance. Clyde Davis won a ham.
