This meeting was for Jr M Men and Junior Gleaners and their parents. In the sport the girls MIA teams from West Point hive been doing very well. The Mia Maids as yet haven't lost a game, the older Jr. Gleaners and Gleaner girls group have only lost one. That game was lost to Clearfield Third Ward by 3 points. The girls have 3 more games to play. Sports directors Beverly Hunt and Florence Abrams have been working very hard and their effortn have not been in vain. Good luck girls! Another lovely little girl has come to bless the home of Norman and Berdean Loveland Evanson. She has another sister and brother at home to welcome her. She arrived Monday Nov. 5th. Kenny and Jill Gillis Flint are tne happy parents of a boy. Mr. and Mrs Wilford Flint of West Point art now- proudly wearing the title "grandpa and grandma. Very phased with their first grandchild, Jills folks live in Clearfield, bet they are pleased too. We are lad to know that Afton Johnston who has had a rough time (It it since a recent operation is gradually getting better and hope that before long she will be well enough to be up and about again. Janet Flint had the misfortune to break her foot last week but she is managing quite well and was able to attend school on Monday. Last Saturday night the Rose Prom was held. The decorations were even lovilier than ever before. Large red rose were artistically arranged the word "Love and Success" were used to bring out the theme. A beautiful model of the temple was the main point of Interest We we a special thanks to Lois Flint of West Point who with her MIA Maids helped with the decorating. A program was given. Punch and cookies were sold and the MIA Maids and Explorers danced a Special dance called sophisticated swing." It was nicely done.
