Show Sun Advocate Price, Utah Tuesday March 26, 2002 11B Many oM photos lay in homes around lawn and in the area. These photos tell a valuable stny about Gaibon County and the times it has experienced as well as the people who have lived here. Sadly, many are stored away where no one can see them or are often thrown away for one reason or another. The SunAitivcaie is teaming up with the Caibon County , cal Society to preserve these images of the past. The paper is requesting that old photos people have be brought to the paper and we will scan them and digitize them so thcycan be saved for future genera- tions and for all to see. Old photos are not just from the turn of the centuiy, but some are of more recent times up through the 1970's. The paper encourages those who want to share their images with the community to bring them in and let us look at them. I This is a photo of a workshop in Carbon County in the early 1920's. The photo was offered far print by Richard KM of Carbonville. The person on the left is Haivey Bass. The person standing in the coveralls holding what appears to be a handle is Richard's grandfather.
