Although not victorious, the team jdid walk away with the feeling of The Vikings hosted the gSfendover Wildcats in the final tame ofthe season. The Vikings mntered the game with determination. Country Lanes and Gateway Lanes. The beginning of the tourna- v, ment was marked with much hoopla as the first state tournament housed in the Carbon County area got under way. Members of the UWBA board who were in attendance were then introduced, along with foul association members. Women from around the state then began competing in the event Although the standings have not yet been released, they will be listed as soon as they become available. The tournament will continue throughout the month of March. Each weekend, women from across the state will travel to Carbon County to compete in the tournament. Tie single, and doubles games will be held at the Country Lanes in Carbonville, while the team games will be hosted at Gateway Lanes in Helper. The Eagles traveled to Rangely, Colo, to take on the Colorado Northwestern Spartans. Although the Spartans finished the season with a record, the Eagles did not take the game lightly. In fact, the Eagles played as solid as pos1-- 17 sible. Richardson, and Nick Whiting lead the Eagles in scoring with 14 points apiece.
