He married Rena Nielson Sept. 9, 1919 in Huntington. She died Jan. 8, 1975. He married Lucille Allen Kinder Sept. 13, 1975 in the Provo LDS Temple. She survives. A coal miner and farmer, he was a former city councilman. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Last Squad and the American Legion. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. He was lx)m June 17, 1891 in Anadarka, Okla. He lived in Minneapolis, Minn., where he worked as a fruit produce manager before moving to Hazelton where he owned and operated Rays Cafe. In 1970, he moved to Wendell where he lived until his death. He was a member of Hennepin Lodge No. 4, F&AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies and Zuhrah Shrine Temple, all of Minneapolis. Surviving are four daughters, Virginia Hunt, Reno, Dorothy Farrell, Price, Betty Stevens, Santa Cruz, Calif., and Judy Strand, San Antonio; 13 grandchildren and numerous and Funeral services were in Demarays Leeper Chapel, Wendell, by the Rev. He was a coal miner at Trail Mountain Coal mine.
