Show 8 Sun Advocate, Price, Utah Friday, April 11, 1986 castle valley watch a.m. April 5. John F. Kanton, Price, reported that a letter he was mailing was missing from the mailbox at his home. Neighbors also reported that their mailboxes were found open that morning. Post office officials were notified of the missing letter, according to the report. 2:48 p.m. April 5. Three juveniles told a deputy that they had been riding horses in the Carbonville area and two other juveniles were shooting guns in the area and spooked the horses. The three reported they were bucked off the horses. The shooting subjects were advised to be more careful and stopped after they learned that the three had been bucked the opening of the tank and a sample was taken for analysis. 8:45 a.m. April 7. Verl L. Penrod, Pleasant Grove, reported that between 8 a.m., someone had allegedly been scattering nails along Soldier Creek Road. Aproximately 100 nails had been 8 Sheriff's Dept. Report 6:02 p.m. April 1. Sally Shelton requested deputies to assist at her home as children had been using her yard as a playground while waiting for the school bus. Deputy asked children to refrain from doing so. 8:35 p.m. April 1. Koger McKenny of Kingdom Hall in Carbonville reported vandalism to two automobiles. Cars had been covered with toilet paper and April Fools had been written on then along with mud smeared. 4:43 p.m. April 2. JoAnn Davis from reported Single Stop in Wellington someone had taken $9.60 in gas without paying for it. 5:56 p.m. April 2. Deputy Kevin Drolc assisted Helper Police Dept, on a fight as the Helper officer was transporting a prisoner to the Carbon County Sheriffs Office. 4:48 p.m. April 2. Deputies answered a call at the Ridges in Wellington of a woman begin harrased by an unknown man. 8:01 p.m. April 2. Sheriffs office received a call of a possible prowler in Rowley's Trailer Park in Spring Glen. 5:45 p.m. April 4. Sheriffs dispatcher Janice Drolc reported that a subject in the drunk tank at the jail had possibly broken the surveilance camera. She told a deputy that she had been observing the subject, then answered the phone and w hen she looked at the screen again, the drunk tank screen was blank. Deputy found that the camera's glass had been pushed in and the camera had been turned, breaking the wires. Subject was moved to the main cell of the jail. The subject, Richard Robert Adams, 34, Helper, was charged with suspicion of injuring a jail, a third degree felony. 9:40 p.m. April 4. Sheriffs office received a call of a fight at the main road of Mon rock Cement Co. Witnesses told deputies that the fighting subjects had left and refused to give deputies names of those subjects. Witnesses were told to leave the area. 9:57 p.m. April 4. Juvenile was referred to juvenile court for suspicion of unlawful posession of alcohol after observed in Kenilworth. found. 5:15 p.m. April 7. Steve Mason, manager of Meadow Gold Dairy in Carbonville reported that three of his trucks have had windsheilds shot by BB guns in the past week. 8:57 p.m. April 7. Deputy was flagged down near the city hall in Helper by a woman. Deputy saw another woman and a little girl lying on the ground. He found that the three had been walking on Main Street and the woman had fallen, hurting her knee. She was checked by Helper Rescue. 1:39 a.m. April 9. Jason Davis, Salt Iake City, requested assistance from deputies while repossessing automobiles in the area. off. April 6. James Barfield of the reported a truck driver had observed a subject allegedly of pop from the store while take a Barfield was in a back room. Subject was then contacted, returned and questioned about the incident. Subject denied taking the pop, but offered to pay for it. Subject was not cited. Barfield hadnt actually seen the alleged theft and the unidentified truck driver had left. 1 p.m. April 6. Deputies were called to a family disturbance at Dadio's Trailer Court in Price. Woman subject told deputy she was concerned about the safety of a child that was in her fathers custody. Social worker and deputy determined child was in good hands. 2:15 p.m. April 6. Angelo Nick Kouris, Price, was arrested for suspem::;, of disorderly conduct after allegedly using foul and abusive language to an officer after an indicent near 400 East and 600 South in Price. 5:45 a.m. April 6. Earl Wilson from the East Metro reported that subjects left the station without paying for $19.60 in gas. After the vehicle was cheek on the NCIC computer, it was determined that the car was stolen and the occupants were wantc J an warrants from Colorado. Scott H. Todd, Grand Juction, Colo, and Scott Q. Schipper, no address available, were arrested. 7:55 a.m. April 7. Donna M. Anderson, Price, reported that sometime during the past week, someone had placed a foreign substance in the gas tank of her car. A white sticky substance was found around 4 : 45 a .m. John Orville Fisher, on Fiechko I,ane, driving about 3 m.p.h looking for asparagas when the vehicle left the canal road and came to rest on a fence post. Nunez, 26, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from 12:01 a.m. April 6. Thomas P. Martinez, 39, Price, was arrested for of DUI and suspicion of suspicion possession of a controlled substance. James Thompson, an instructor at Carbon High School, reported that when he arrived at school, he found a cash box containing $15 and a case of Goo Goo Cluster candy, valued at $48, missing. He told officers that night school had been in session the night before and he couldnt remember if the door to his room had been locked. The debate team at the high school sells the candy as a fund raiser. 10:30 p.m. April 2. Dave W. Davis, Price, was arrested for suspicion of DUI. Intoxilizer allegedly revealed a blood alcohol content of .27. Bail was set at $559. 11 p.m. April 2. Lavon E. Anderson, 32, reported a bicycle allegedly stolen from his residence. 5 p.m. April 3. Robert Wayne Hardy, 41, and Sharon Kay Hardy, both of Preston, Ida., were arrested on felony warrants from Idaho. John Palacious, 21, was arrested for suspicion of retail theft at Smiths Helper, suspicion of DUI. He refused intoxilizer test according to arrest record. 4:20 a.m. April 6. Sherry M.
