A Carbon High School student reported someone had let the air out of his tires and had kicked the side of his truck, denting it. 4:15 p.m. Apr. 17. Constance Kerns, Price, found her front license plate missing when she came out to go home from work. 5:50 p.m. Apr. 17. Danny Barney, 18, Price, said he was told by a neighbor that Barneys vehicle was missing and had last been seen about 10 a.m. Apr. 17. The vehicle was later found about 5 p.m. in the area of 700 N. and 800 E. The vehicle, valued at $2,000, was towed back to Barneys home. 12:47 a.m. Apr. 18. Chad Elliott Smith, 30, Price, was arrested on suspicion of assault on a peace officer and intoxication. 11 a.m. Apr. 18. Charles B. Uonsowsky, 74, Price, said a shed behind a house owned by his daughter had been broken into and a rug valued at $250 taken. Damage to the shed was estimated at $50. 12:05 a.m. Apr. 20. Monette OKeefe, Ogden, said her car was parked in front of a convenience store in Price while she was changing a tire when someone entered it and took her purse, valued at $36. 1:41 p.m. Apr. 20. Scarlet W. Houghton, 29, Price, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Bail was set at $106. 3 p.m. Apr. 20. City officers reportedly were assisting in the arrest of Bradley J. Atwood, 25, Price on several outstanding warrants. Officers alleged Atwood refused to cooperate in the arrest. Sgt. Willie Draughon reportedly took Atwoods arm and a struggle allegedly ensued. All three officers reportedly helped to restrain Atwoods arm as the arrest was completed. 5:10 p.m. Apr. 20. Donald J. Varner, 38, Price, was cited on suspicion of public intoxication. 12:25 p.m. Apr. 22. Louis N. Berg reported two car speakers, valued at $70, had been taken from his vehicle. 3:40 p.m. Apr. 22. An boy reported that his bike was taken from his driveway between 4 a.m. Apr. 21 and 8 a.m. Apr. 22. The value of the bike was set at $160. 6:27 p.m. Apr. 22. Sharon Priscilla Ellington, 31, Price, was arrested on two outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $362. 1:40 p.m. Apr. 23. Joel Dee Miller, 18, Cleveland, was stopped on suspicion of having an expired registration. A check for warrants revealed one being held by the sheriffs office. Bail was set at $133. 3:58 p.m. Apr. 23. A maintenance man reported the door to an apartment rented by Ron Kent Firm, 23, Price, was open. It was later found that a .38 caliber revolver valued at $100 was missing. 8 a.m. Apr. 24. Chris H. Mikesell, Wellington, is the night cashier at Smiths. He said he reset the computer at , midnight which caused all of the cash register drawers to come open. Mikesell said he checked out several customers for about five minutes after the drawers opened. Later it was found that $381 in assorted bills were missing from one of . the drawers. - I Price City Accidents 3:15 p.m. Apr. 18. A vehicle driven by Jacklene T. Dunson, 34, Price, was southbound on 700 E. and Intending to make a left turn onto Main St. A vehicle driven by Edward F. Garcia, 29, Price, v was northbound on 700 E. and the vehicles collided in the intersection. Ms. Dunson received a citation for allegedly failing to yield the right of way. 9 p.m. Apr. 19. A car driven by Ronald D. Dalton, 29, Price, was stopped behind other vehicles at a red light when it was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Heidi Lynn Jones, 19, Price. Ms. Jones received a citation for allegedly following too closely with an accident. 8:15 p.m. Apr. 20. Michael D. lister, 26, Price contacted officers the day following an accident and said a vehicle driven by Uoyd W. Priano, 21, Price, had backed into his. Damage to the Lister vehicle was estimated at $200 while there was no damage reported to the Priano vehicle. 10:45 p.m. Apr. 2 . Jolene Safley reportedly parked a car and went inside to shop. On returning Safley found someone had collided with the car and then left the scene. Damage was estimated at $500. 3:30 p.m. Apr. 23. Beverly Farley, 21, Blanding, reportedly parked her car and went to work. When she returned she found someone had hit her parked car, causing about $200 damage. Sheriff's Dept. Report 9:16 p.m. Apr. 16. Marvin C. Davis, 47, West Valley City, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A breath test revealed a BACof.26. 5:34 p.m. Apr. 18. Charles Phillips boy in his reported he had a office who tried to steal a can of chewing tobacco. No referral was made to juvenile authorities was made, but the case was discussed with the childs parents. 4:05 a.m. Apr. 19. A purse belonging to Jerri Lyn Liddiard was reported stolen from the West Husky. The value of the purse was estimated at $40. 2:07 a.m. Apr. 20. Deputies arrested Randy Charles Anderson, 35, Kenilworth, on two outstanding commitments totaling $950 and suspicion of public intoxication. He was transported to the Carbon County Sheriffs Office for detention. 3:33 a.m. Apr. 20. Rodney Lee Knowlden, 40, Scofield, was arrested on suspicion of driving on suspension. 11:16 a.m. Apr. 20. Deputies received a complaint that young people riding three wheelers were disturbing some cattle near the old coal ramps in southeast Price. Deputies found only one vehicle and driver, who agreed to stay away from the area where the cattle were. 7:57 p.m. Apr. 21. John R. Cockrill, 38, springville was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The breath test revealed a BAC of said he wax going to fast and was not able to make the turn onto Kenilworth Road.. The three were all referred to juvenile authorities for illegal consumption of. alcohol by a minor. The driver was also referred for speeding. ' 1:06 p.m. Apr. 21.
