VETERANS MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE American Legion Post 3, VFW Miners Post 2379 and Marine Corps League will honor all war veterans during a special service May 27, 11 a.m., at the military memorial in Price City Cemetery. The organizations urge local veterans to wear uniforms, meet at the cemeterys south entrance at 10 am. and participate in the ceremony. The public is encouraged to attend the service. VFW Games and activities are slated Sundays at 1 p.m. at the post home in Price. VFW FIELD OFFICER May 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. to will be at Price Job Service on assist veterans in understanding, preparing and documenting applications for compensation, pension, hospitalization and other VA benefits.
