May 2, 1996 SCHOOLS EVENTS KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION Carbon School District has set the following kindergarten registration dates: Sally Mauro, May 6, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and Wellington, April 22, 9 a.m. to noon. Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. Immunization records and birth certificates required. Eye screenings will be available through the health department The celebration will be presented July 3 at Sunnyside park. COMMUNITY DAZE 12-1- WBBA PARADE The opening event for Price American, National and Central little leagues is slated May 4 at 9 a.m. The parade starts at 355 East Main and ends at Price Elks Lodge. After receiving treats donated by the Elks, players will return to their fields for team pictures and a full day of tournament games. PARK CONCERT CEU music department will host an concert in the park May 8, 6 p.m., at the Price Peace Garden. The event will feature traditional concert music by bands from Helper Junior High, Mont Harmon, Carbon High and CEU. In case of rain, the concert will move indoors to the Price Civic Auditorium. The public is encouraged to attend the free musical event. FRIDAY NIGHT JAZZ The final concert of the year will be presented May 10, 6 p.m., on the patio adjacent to the pool at Days Inn. The event will include a buffet dinner and swimming. The casual dress concert is open to the public. For reservations, contact Days Inn. MARILYN SOKOL The Broadway star will return to the area and present a concert July 11, 7:30 p.m., at Price Civic Auditorium.
