Dear Editor: In reference to the article Coach Dispute in the of February 15th signed by Majority Party, I submit the following to help the author with the facts. Most elementary children are aware that freedom of the press affords each of us the opportunity to ramble on about any topic we choose. However, proving what is printed as fact is at best difficult, if not impossible. Had the Green River Majority really been what the word indicates and had the ramblings been even partly true, perhaps they would have had the courage to sign their names to the article and not hide behind a false impression and false statement. Lets take them item by item. te Hank Freeman announces the birth of her second granddaughter, born to Jack and Marsha Hamilton on February 17, in Odgen. The little miss will be named Mary Jane. School house woes Dear Editor: I am one of a group of parents, who for years have been trying to get help to our school improve building. Lovely promises have been made, but action is practically It has taken as high as two years to get even minor repairs taken care of. After reading the article on the problems they are having at the other end of the county, I can see so many of the exact same problems that we are having in Green River, only ours are not so advanced. We have a letter circulating, for signatures from those who are in agreement, explaining the problems that need immediate attention, asking for help from whichever agency or investigative committee that may be able to assist with the many problems we are up against before it is too late to salvage anything as seems to be the case in North Emery Junior High. Many feel that we are going about this in the wrong way, but where we have tried to get action on a local level with no results, we feel we have no alternative. I have but one question that takes in t. more than just Emery County but anywhere in the U.S. where the problem arises, Why wait until a building is condemmed before anyone worries about the future building that will be needed?
