DavidCrest Cafe with son. executive vice president of the Federation. Hie map in question indicates bv a dotted line that portion of Highway 50 sought to be included as taking off from the junction of and at Cove Fort thus eliminating the Highway 50 section from Green River to Spanish Fork then southwesterly to connect with the proposed Highway 50 alignment near Ely. Nevada Price businessmen present at the meeting expressed the opinion that inasmuch as the Federation should be concerned with the entire highway this section is being neglected by not being included on the map as a proposed interstate addition. Mr. Davidson explained that the Green River Spanish Fork section has already been included in the Utah Highway Departments plans under the extended interstate mileage program authorized by the federal bureau of highways. However, he stated that the indications on the map would be corrected so as to include this section in accompanying any future promotional material dispatched by the Federation to highway departments concerned. He pointed out that the Federation is pushing efforts towards e bringing the Green section up to standard. We have asked the Utah Highway Department to continue on this project at a rapid pace because that section of pixir highway just cast of Woodside is one of the worst sections of U. S. 50 in Utah, he commented. He also added that efforts are being made to push improvements on the road between Green River and the Colorado-Utaborder which will eventually be a part of 170. officers of the two Carbon County Masonic lodges were installed at a joint ceremony Monday night in the Price Masonic Temple.
