MURRAY MATIIIS Mayor of Price Junior Livestock O BIRTHS O 4-- H Two recent meetings of the H Carbon Junior Livestock Club are reported this week. On March 10 Barry Mills gave a report on black leg which was followed by a discussion of common livestock diseases. At the March 24th meeting discussion centered on signs to be used at the Ferron livestock Show. Pictures of beef cattle were distributed and Robert Mathis gave a talk on parasites. This year the dub hopes to leam handling, fitting and showing of livestock. 4-- Horsemen Club Meets 4-- H As Mayor of Price, I deem it a priviledge to proclaim the week from April 4th through April 10th as Easter Seal Week. The fine work of the Utah Easter Seal Society for our crippled and handicapped friends and neighbors is a work that deserves our continuing help. Our complex civilization with its industrial and increasing auto accidents, plus the continuance of such diseases as Cerebral Falsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Muscular Dystrophy; in addition to birth defects of a physical and mental nature, seem to add to the number of crippled and handicapped children and adults each year. Dr. Ruth Blackburn talked on feeding and nutrition of horses. In attendance were 24 old members and ten new members.
