The Bee Hive Swarm Night is graduation night for Bee Hive girls, when their work is completed in June. A very beautiful program was presented by the girls and their Bee Hive leaders, with each ward giving an original number on the program from some phase of the study outline in the Bee Hive lessons. The program was as follows. Two girls from Ella Wellington Second ward Dean Powell and Anetta Williams. Three girls from Dragerton ward Sharon Wilcox, Phyllis Huntington and Lynn Charlesworth. Carbon Stake is very proud of these Honor Bee Hive girls as they had many extra hours of work to do and attended meetings faithfully during their two years of Bee Hive in order fo earn this award. A Worker Bee Award was presented to Kathleen Larsen of Sunnyside ward, and a special award to Kayrene Bunnell, Price Fifth ward. Closing prayer wag given by Karla Preston, after which refreshments were served. Hostess ward was Dragerton. In charge of refreshments were the Sunnyside and Dragerton wards, Printed programs were made by Mary Helen Bunnell, Price Fifth ward. Lighting and seating arrangements and special stage props were taken care of by Dragerton ward janitor and caretaker, and a Fau-set- vote of thanks is extended o him for his fine work and help. An exhibit table held articles of handicraft made by Bee Hive girls during the year. One of the outstanding articles exhibited was a beautiful quilt made by Price First ward. The quilt was sold and money donated to their ward building fund. Hiawatha ward held their Swarm Night on a ward basis, with members of the ward and mothers of the Bee Hive girls as special guests. A lovely program was presented and graduating Bee Hive girls were honored and girls in First Year Bee Hive who earned their individual award. A social was held for the girls and their mothers aqd refreshments served. Bee Hive leaders were Phyllis Austin and Dessa Cox.
