The center located at Sunnyside has been completely remodeled. All the alleys have been resurfaced and sanded, new side boards with a fibre edge have been installed on all pin decks new gutter boards have been installed and new pit mats have replaced the old. In addition new pin setters are in operation for the pleasure of bowling fans. All bowling and billiard equipment is now in perfect condition for your pleasure. The entire enterior of th build semi-automat- ic ing has been remodeled and new furniture added. Accomodations are now available for large groups, school, church, social clubs, etc. Full details can be obtained by calling TU Mr. Burdis added that the bowling season starts the first part of September so league reservations should be made as soon as Birds beaks are adapted to their feeding habits. Junior and senior life saving classes at the Price city swimming pool are advancing in a satisfactory manner, according to Instructor Robert Cromar and tomorrow the participants in the course will be given their final tests. The junior classes are held every morning starting at 8 and the seniors take over at 10 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Both adults and youngsters are enrolled in the course. More than 3,000 magpies have been destroyed since May 1, when Cro-mathe program was initiated. Killing of the magpies was carried on Irom May 1 to July 31. Youngsters from both Carbon and Emery counties collected and killed the magpies and received as a bounty reward 15 cents for each magpie head. Also included on the agenda of this new organization is a project to interest more women in taking year-aroun- and Bessie Gibson succeeded in getting the womens activity included in the city recreation program and since that time Jack Kobe of the city recreation department has devoted much time in giving swimming instruction. This program is expected to continue and increase and all women of the city are urged to participate in this activity.
