Show THE Thursday, March 20, I, Page Seven 1958 Atm nutmurmeuM Highlights in 1 1 6 Years in History of Relief Society Marks Fourth Ward Fete A colorful portrayal of highlights spotting the one hundred and sixteen years of organization of the worlds oldest feminine society was given by Fourth ward Relief Society members Monday afternoon. Mrs. MelBoume Russell conducted. Participants entered into the spirit of the occasion by sparing not an effort which would make the afternoon memorable, commencing with a luncheon prepared by Jennie Harmon, Nellie Creamer and Leone Holden. Table decorations were arranged by Kate Waterman in a gold and blue motif, with a birthday cake as central attraction. Alice Rasmussen was chairman of the program, assisted by Leishman who wrote script for the narrator, and Dorothy Hancey, who arranged music. Narrator for the ensuing page- oaigning for women suffrage, replete with banners ' demanding same. Taking part were Colleen NTeeley, Betty Anderson, Eunice 4nderson, Janice Castleton and Marguerite Degn. Tagging along help their to mothers crusade were Lonnie and David Castleton, Cherie Anderson,-- Diane Ever- ett. Grand finale was the appearance of all the customes participants on stage singing their Happy Birthday song which was composed by a former member a few years ago to be used on anniversary dates.
