Pleasant, Utah, has filed with the State Engineer, a request for an extension of time from Mar. 5, 1955 to Mar. 5, 1960 in which to make and submit Proof of Appropriation of Water under Application No. 11378 for the appropriation of 10 sec.-f- t. of water from two tributaries of Boulger Creek in Sanpete County, Utah, to be used for irrigation purposes. Tangero, Brunetti to Highlight Fight Card full program of professional wrestling and amateur boxing is on tap for sports fans of this area when the Notre Dame Athletic Club sponsors a card the evening of April 2 at the Helper civic auditorium starting at 8:00 p.m. The main event will be' a tag wrestling bout featuring Joe Price native, teamed with Guy Brunetti', Jordan athlete, against Mit-sJapanese Arakawa, mauler, teamed with either Vem Texan, or A1 MarTaft, Tan-gar- o, 227-pou- 230-poun- d u 240-pou- 235-pou- tinez, the 250-pou- Mexican Bandit. The team of Tangaro and Brunetti has been together for three years since both started wrestling and has since toured over 20,000 miles traveling to all parts of the United States competing in tag matches. Tangaro and Brunetti are recognized as one of the nations top tag teams. Tangaro is a Carbon high alum' nus. While at Carbon he was a top football player and was an in 1944 as well as team captain. He lettered all four years in football at the University of in Utah and was Ute his senior year. He was selected as an player and rated an honorable mention for Jordan high graduate and also an He and Tangaro were teammates on the University of Utah grid team and he was also rated as material. This match Saturday night will be the last appearance of Tangaro and Brunetti in Utah this season. Arakawa, who hails from Hiroshima, now calls Chicago his home and is considered the greatest Japanese Sumo wrestler who has adopted the style. He is the top contender for the title in the Midwest region and is a sleeper hold specialist and mixes Judo in with his bag of Oriental tricks. Taft has held the Texas state wrestling championship while Mar tinez, who hails from Mexico City, holds the heavyweight championship of that country having, wrested it from Rito Romero.
