Erickson of Mr. and Elmo, parents of Ervin Erickson of Wellington, observed their 60th wedding anniversary July 7th. They are pioneers of Emery county, and were married in Cleveland July 7, 1894. On June 24, 1904, their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS temple. Mr. Erickson was born in Ice10, 1874, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Erickson, and emigrated to this country for the gospel. Mrs. Erickson was born in Fountain Green November 8, 1874, a daughter of Patriarch Peter E. Johnson. The Ericksons have been lifelong workers in the LDS church, he having served in Sunday School, the priesthood organizations, and the many musical activities of the wards in which he has resided. She has always been active in Relief Society, among her other church duties. They sent two of their children on missions for the church. Mr. and Mrs. Erickson are the parents of 12 children, all of whom are living, including Claude L. Erickson, Murray; Stella Memory Iola Rice and Maxine of Salt Lake City; Ervin R. Erickson of Wellington; Mrs. Mary Angus, Spring Glen; Glover Stoddard Erickson of Huutington; Lillian I. Oviatt, Clifford; and Einer and Charlotte Erickson of Elmo.
