Of the 1800 volunteer Utah club leaders, between 150 and 200, representing all parts of the state, will attend, according to David Sharp, Jr. and Fern Ship-leesupervisors of USAC Extension youth programs. The school is sponsored yearly by the college extension service to train leaders in conducting clubs. There are 1795 club leaders in Utah, but it is necessary to limit enrollment to the annual state school, Professor Sharp explained. Following it, a series of county training schools will be held. Both state and county schools are sponsored by the Extension Service. Speakers at the school will include USAC President Franklin S. Harris, Dr. Adam S. Bennionl of the Utah Power and Light company, Extension Director Carl Frischknecht, and several mem-- 1 bers of the college resident and 4-- as parliamentarian. The Felecus Puellae (Happy Girls) club met at the Frank Rose home in Sunnydale Tuesday evening. The girls, are making their skirts of gray - kweed and, will wear white blouses as their club dress. A grand time was reported. The Girl Reserves of the tenth grade met at the home of Vernon Stoddard February 22. Mrs. Dial is the consular of this group. A bingo party is planned for February 27 at the recreation hall of the Catholic church. The bingo parties are always a big success, and lovely prizes will be given as heretofore. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Moore of East Geneva Drive have a new son. The mother and son were at the Dragerton hospital. The Cultura club held a very interesting meeting February 11 at the Good Shepherd hall. Mrs. F. L. Graham was in charge of the program which was based on Navajo Indians and was very colorful with Indian costumes, rugs and pottery. On February 15 the Cultura club was guest to the Book Cliff club at Sunnyside, which was the Book Cliff clubs annual Washington tea. Rodney D. Evans suffered a heart attack Monday morning in the postoffice which gave the postoffice employees a good scare. John Krnc happened on the scene and began artificial respiration.
