Van Aelstyn, representative of the state board of health ' in this area. Quarantined cases are not pard ticularly severe and only have developed a rash, this type being peculiar to the west. There are five types of this ailment, one of which attacks the skin. Inl from rash results from previous attacks or infections. Headache, sore throat, eyes and nose watering are some of the dan-o- n ger signals which should be heed-cake- s, ed by keeping the patient at home and calling a doctor. School nurs-food- s, es are on the watch for scarlet er cases, but many parents are not, hence this warning. If this mild epidemic is lcssly treated it may develop into a serious form of scarlet fever, Doctor Van Aelstyn points out, due to the spread of infection by unquarantined boys and girls. one-thir- care-receiv- five cAnoon MANY SCOUTS PROMOTED SUNDAY and Game A meeting of the Carbon-Emer- y Fish and Game assocaition will be held this Sunday, December 12, at the Price municipal auditorium for the purpose of electing new directors for 1944, according to Ken Mower, president of the organization. The new trailer parks, which will be similar to those recently opened at Helper, Hiawatha and Wattis, will be located at Dragerton, Castle Gate, Spring Glen, Kenilworth and Clear Creek. Most of the trailer houses, including 100 at Dragerton, already have been shipped to these towns, where they await installation and putting in of sanitary and other utilities. The FPA has certain definite requirements, explains Captain Roberts, regarding suitable location for trailer parks or communities and until these requirements are met the houses on wheels will not be available for occupancy. One rule is that such parks shall not be located where they will interfere with other residential communities, consequently they usually are placed outside of towns, as at Helper. Water, light, electric power, sanitary equipment, sewage disposal, communication and transportation facilities must be provided adequately before trailer parks are established. Sanitary facilities are considered the most Important, beto occupants cause essential health Captain Roberts is a sanitary engineer who devotes most of his time to army camp service, but the war department permits him to work part time in defense industrial areas, which include Carbon coal mining communities. The trailer homes which are being and will be used here are provided by the government to furnish temporary dwellings for workers and their families pending building of permanent residences. After the latter have been provided the hou. trailers will be shipped to other locations. training about wartime To Teach price control, rationing, informa(Continued on Page Two) tion and administrative procedure 16th Of state will be held throughout the Cast of characters for Little during the week of December 10 Discuss Mechanics of arrests, disarming to 17, the chairman said.
