MORE PROSPEROUS Many Carbon Residents Submit Federal Tax Reports Prior To March 15 Deadline An indication of returned prosperity in Carbon county is furnished by the fact that more federal income tax returns were filed this year than at any time since 1929, the year of the crash, according to an announcement by Nick Lauris, deputy district collector of internal revenue. Definite figures concerning the number of returns are not yet available, but the total is substantially larger than during the past several years. The increase in returns is general throughout Mr. Launs district, MARINES BLAZED TRAIL which includes Carbon, Emery, Grand, FOLLOWED BY SKY SIUPS San Juan, Uintah and Duchesne counties.
