In 1907 he came to Utah, after being converted to the L. D. S .church. For thirteen years, prior to moving to Springville, he resided in Price. Surviving are his widow, Lula E. Sauer, a daughter, Mrs. Fern Garrick, Sacramento, California; a grandchild, two sister's and one brother. Interment will be in the Price cemetery, following services at Springville Friday.
