Bryncr entertained twelve members of the Social Sewing Circle and four guests at her home Thursday afternoon, the regular meeting date of the group. A St. Patrick luncheon was served during the course' of the meeting, after which the ladies spent the time in Cl sewing. Friday Nite Club Entertained Mrs. Belmont Richards was hostess last week for members of the Friday Nite club. Present were Mrs. J. W. Bingham, Mrs. Allan Ramsay, Mrs. Carlyle Pace, Mrs. C. W. Cramer, Mrs. Ernest Lee, Mrs. Harvey Thomas and Mrs. Leslie Thorne. A prettily planned luncheon was served with bridge being played after, at which Mrs. Thorne won the prize. hut even in the Snowy today are mixing drinks as delicious as the famous Dixie highballs and juleps. The guests enjoyed the Ladies Aid dinner in the Community church early in the evening, after which they engaged in bridge at the hostess home. Attending were Mrs. J. C. Hubbard, Mrs. H. G. MacKnight, Mrs. Louis Kay, Mrs. Ruel Redd, Mrs. George Wallace, Mrs. Marl Gibson,' Mrs. Eugene Hanson, Mrs. Leland Peacock, Mrs. Fred Winkenwerder, Mrs. J. Bracken Lee and Mrs. Vincent Sumner, members, and Mrs. A. N. Smith, guest. Entertains At St. Patrick Party Miss Alice Critchlow entertained eight friends at a delightful St. Patricks party at her home Wednesday. The evening was spent in games, music, and a pretty seasonal luncheon was served after. Guests were Mazel Harmon, Vera Christensen, Kay Ross, Jessie and Morris Rasmussen, Dorse Oman, John Critchlow' and Duane Frandsen. Price Lady Won Raffle Mrs. J. T. Kelley of Price was the winner of the cedar chest raffled at the community church Wednesday evening, when the Ladies Aid society sponsored a chicken dinner and raffle. A large crowd attended the evenings social, with the Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce organizations of Price and Helper being among the guests. !T - a all |
