Woodruff, in charge of the exhibition. The art and sculptural work now on exhibition is entirely done by Utah artists and sculpturers. Over forty Utah artists, being chosen by the committee in charge due to their leadership in the Utah field of art, have their works on exhibition. Oil paintings, etchings, water colors and sculptural pieces totaling to 162 separate exhibits compose this art display. The purpose of the Utah Artist Art .exhibit is to show to the public a col-- I lection of local art work that will accurately represent contemporary art in a broad and truthful fashion. As la result of this and other exhibits sponsored by the University of Utah in art, public interest is expected to igrow, thus encouraging artists in their Iwoik. Another purpose of the exhibit is to provide a market for the woiks of Utah artists, as all of the .exhibits are for sale, The exhibit is open to the public free of charge, and will remain open until December 21 The exhibit opens daily at 10.00 a. m. and closes at 10.00 p. m.
