PAlN TAKIT FORCE ATTENDS SAFEWAY FETE HELD AT PROVO Manager A. L. Peterson and C. Ward of the local Payn Takit store attended the Safeway party held at Provo Wednesday evening under the auspices of the Safeway Employes league. In attendance at the affair were managers and employes of stores in Park City, Payson, Spanish Fork, Bingham, Magna, Provo, Mt. Pleasant, Eureko, Midvale, Cedar City and Richfield. ANNUAL FLAY OF CARBON HIGH SENIORS POSTPONED The annual Carbon high senior play, Smilin Through, originally scheduled for December 13, 14 and 15 has been postponed until January 17, 18 and 19. The change in dates was necessary in order that an entire new set of scenery could be built, costumes obtained and new sets made. It would have been impossible to have made these improvements if the play were presented as first CARBON STUDENT ON STAFF OF LOGAN COLLEGE PAPER Claude Cowley of Sunnyside is member of the business staff of The Student Life, weekly paper published by the Utah State Agricultural college at Logan. Mr. Cowley, a graduate of Carbon county high school, is a freshman at the college. He starred on both the football and basketball teams of the Carbon high a few seasons ago. 31USIC PROGRAM SET A musical entertainment with a holiday theme will be presented by the Price L. D. P. O. Klkt, since its organization in 1929 la well known to residents of Carbon county.
