PRICE, UTAH BAND CONTEST IS A SUCCESS THE Third Annual Intermountain Band contest, undoubtedly the biggest affair of its kind in this or neighboring states, has passed into history with a record of having set a pace in competition of this kind that will rank with the best and the establishment of definite realization of its great value in many respects. . Despite numerous situations which at times appeared very disheartening, the annual contest matched its way over the line of success in a most pronounced manner. That is not an idle dream. It is a goal toward which to work, and one, should conditions anywhere near normal return, that should not be difficult to attain. Benefits derived from the annual contest are mutual, every community being represented by a participant being the gainer, it is a program of advantage and advancement to the entire intermountain district, a fact which must never be lost sight of under any circumstances.
