Telephone Industry Subject Of Talk At Rotary Club Meeting History of the telephone industry was related to members of the Price Rotary club Thursday evening by Frank D. Sawyer, manager of the local branch of the American Telephone and Telegraph company. Some practice has been made in the past of calling the county treasurers office by telephone to secure information concerning personal and property tax for exemption entrance on income tax blanks. Tins practice will have to be eliminated in the future, however, due to the fact that the county authorities are not permitted to give such information over the telephone.
