August Blanc Darrell Cripps HELPER - Loving husband and father, Darrell Dean Cripps, age 44, passed away September 20, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was bom Oct. 13, 1957 in Ogden, to Walter Amber and Irene Lucille Milano Cripps. Married Peggy Sue Peni Dec. 31, 1980 in Elko, Nev. She died Feb. 16, 1986. Married Allison Martinez Sept. 16, 2002 in Spring Glen. The job interview is the place where your experience and capabilities are discussed, conside fed and compared to the needs of an employer. When selecting an employee, an employers needs usually fall into two major areas personal attributes and tech- nical competence. Personal attributes generally indude personality, the ability to wort as a team and the ability to get along with others. The em- ployer usually considers such things as how well this person will be perceived by dients and associates, how he or she fits with the companys ideal employee stereotype and how well the person could influence die company in a cohesive and positive manner. Personal attributes can be described through observations by self and others and lessons learned from previous work and life experiences. Tbchnical competence refers to the overall ability of the candidate to successfully complete the tasks as defined in the advertised job. Tbchnical experience is evidenced by dasses taken, diplomas earned and life and work experiences, both formal and in? formal. During the interview, which may only last 15 to 60 minutes; the person being interviewed must convince the interviewer of his or her abilities to accomplish both the personal and technical requirements, lb do this, preparation and research must be done prior to the interview. Neither party should dominate the time allotted for the interview. The goal is to provide the interviewer with all relevant in- formation supporting the appli- cation.
