Show Thursday, August 27, 1953 Sunnyside Tanda Campfire Girls Meet on Tuesdays The Tanda Campfire Girls are holding their meetings during the summer on Tuesdays of each week. Last week Miss Sue Farnsworth met with the girls and helped all of them start a piece of Swedish embroidery work. The girls will continue their meetings on Tuesday until school when they will change back to their Friday meetings, as they did last winter. Mrs. W. C. Walker drove to Salt Lake City on Wednesday of last week and Mr. Walker followed the following Friday evening on the train. Mr. Walker went in on business and they drove home Sunday afternoon. A crowd of young people enjoyed a picnic up Sunnyside Canyon last Thursday evening. The crowd included Claudette Wright, Barbara Fausett, Martin Bezyack, and Scott Jeffs from Sunnyside, Norma Seppi from Columbia, Bob Bezyack from Dragerton, A1 and Jesse Etzel from Price and Bob Colzani, Jerry Bergera, Quida and Shirleen Gardner all from Helper. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Alger, Janice and Boyd are vacationing in Alaska. They left this week by car for Salt Lake City where they will take a plane to Seattle, Washington. From there they will make the rest of the trip by boat. They will visit their two sons, Reed and Glen. When they return Glen will come back with them to continue his college work at the USAC in Logan. Reed makes his home in Alaska. Mr. and Mrs. Keith G. Stevenson and family of Manti visited in Sunnydale over the week end at the homes of his brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Stevenson, Sr., and family and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jeffs and Scott. Mrs. H. Stevenson, also of Manti, came with them and will stay for a two weeks visit with her son and daughter before returning to her work in the LDS Manti temple when it opens on September 8. Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Brady and children of Castle Gate are moving into 935 Highway which is the last of the 18 new houses just completed. All of the new houses are now occupied. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Allred of Sunnydale and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jeffs of Hiawatha spent Sunday fishing at Cleveland reservoir.
