A At December National PMA Confab d The importance of committees in the Agricultural Conservation program was emphasized at the national conference of the Production and Marketing Administration, held at Colorado Springs, Colorado, December according to J. Vern, Hopkin, chairman of the Utah State PMA committee. It was brought out repeatedly that the farmers who administer production and marketing programs on the county and community level are the real strength of the farm program and constitute one of the most significant developments in agriculture. H. E. Larsen and G. Frank Nelson accompanied Mr. Hopkin as representatives of Utah at the conference. The chairman said that this meeting was the first at which all branches of PMA had been represented since PMA was or-- 1 ganized two years ago.
