With Henry Fonda to portray the youth of one of America's greatest men, the picture, Young Mr. Lin- coin, at the Price Theatre Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, will hit a new high for historic entertainment. Fonda will be remembered as the brother who stole the show in Jessie James; Pauline Moore plays Ann Rutledge; Marjorie Weaver is Mary Todd; Alice Brady and Arleen Whalen are cofeatured at the head of a supporting cast including Eddie Collins, Richard Cromwell, Donald Meek, Dorris Bowdon and Eddie Quillan. A Darryl F. Zanuck production, you can depend on its merit. John Ford directs another hit, this from the pen of Lamar Trotti. The story deals entirely with the years of Lincolns youth, with not a hint of the destiny that was to be his. Ironically enough, the rail fence used in this production was the most expensive item on the entire set. The work had to be done by hand, and each rail required artificial aging. The finished product cost the studio $5.00 per rail for the thousands used. Put Young Mr. Lincoln on your must-se- e list. Blondie is here again, right off the comic strip and into the Utah Theatre. Blondie Take a Vacation is the title of this new opus, with the balmy Bumsteads giving you the time of your life. Baby Dumpling is right in form for hilarious mischief, aided and abetted by Daisy, the family pooch. Lovely Peggy Singleton is Blondie, with. Arthur Lake as the harassed Dagwood. Young Larry Simms plays Baby Dumpling, and they are all off on vacation. In Blondie, and Blondie Meets the Boss, this trio with Daisy, of course won your applause. Right from your favorite comic strip they step into the Utah Theatre, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Marriage Of Price Couple Made Known The marriage of Miss Thressa Ovi-at- t, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Oviatt, to Garth Frandsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Frandsen, was made known, this week. Both young people are well known in Price, and have many friends who wish them happiness. The marriage took place May 27 at Boise, Idaho. Miss Sharp has shuffled around a company of improbable people into patterns of nimble wit and humor. There is Lisbeth whose devastating smile delights any man into doing what she wishes. She has, of course, a charming, worthless brother, Ronnie, w'ho recently convicted of selling dope, thought the white stuff he sold was baking powder. A wealthy aunt turns up and is pleased to take pretty Lisbeth into her family; and Lisbeth acquires a model fiance, a handsome and wealthy army officer. Among these amusingly eccentric characters much of, the story is warmly colored by Mr. Partridge, who always wore red socks because they were warming to the! blood.
